Your Own Destiny

Helping others - that's the primary purpose of this website. Through this forum, I want to use my experience to help people, especially immigrants. Here you will find information that can help you avoid the pitfalls that often await the average immigrant or those trying to return to their homeland after migrating.

I’ve shared some of my personal sojourns both in my book and on this site. Be sure to take a look at the My Travels section. The ‘About Me’ tells you more about me, my extensive travels and what others have said. Be inspired, guided, prepared and armed by checking out my Immigrant Survival Toolkit.

The acronym 'PAVED' encapsulates the PATHWAY I seek during my life journey and what I hope to transfer to my listeners. PAVED stands for :- Passion backed by Action guided by Vision sealed with Education and driven by Determination. This is my motto.

Getting settled properly in a foreign land is the most challenging yet rewarding part of the immigration journey.

Angie Manning Edusei's book, LOST CROSSING BROAD WAY turns the search light on settlement issues faced by immigrants, some of whom leave affluent lifestyles in their homeland in places within territories such as Africa, the Caribbean or Northern Ireland emigrating to countries such as the U.S.A., Canada, the U.K. and Australia in search of opportunities.

An immigrant should become familiar with the immigration rules, regulations, resources and institutions of the land to which he or she has migrated.

The progressive alien will seek to understand cultural differences especially in countries and institutions where diversity is the norm.
